Le Virage 1Le Virage
Le Virage

When we were at the Fisherman Village for the night market we noticed Le Virage as it was packed. It is a small western eatery that served pasta. pizza and french dishes. We loved the ambient which was not too loud the next evening. The waitress was prompt in her service, within a minute we shorted out our dinner. We order a fruit juice and a Singa beer followed by a pizza and a pasta dish. We wanted something light and not too heavy as we were rather tired after our Ang Thong National Marine Park trip.

Stuffed Fish Paste

A simple lunch on weekend can be just as interesting, for instant like chopsticking into some delicious yong tau foo. I just love having my fish paste stuffing especially those deep fried dumplings and deep fried beancurd sheet rolls. Dippings is a must in this yong tau foo eating ritual. So we headed to Batu Caves Yong Tau Foo upon a recommendation from a foodie himself.

Luscious Smoked Duck at Four Seas

Dining at the Chinese here in Kuala Lumpur can be so easily sorted but finding a good one can be a slight task. But here I am having a fantastic and wonderful time indulging a fabulous Chinese gourmet with one of Malaysia most famous food writer Tan Bee Hong, photographer Khoo Su Ting and owner of Four Seas Edward Soo. The first dish the Smoke Duck itself did all the introduction. Smells good. Tasted so brilliant. Got me excited Got us all excitedly with such a bundle of joy. Pink. It was pink. I can’t imagine the smoked duck was slow baked over mustard, garlic and honey. It was such a beauty. . . . . soft in texture, intense with flavours. We were left raving for more. Definitely a must have dish if you are planning to dine here.

FU-RIN Japanese Restaurant Holiday Inn Glenmarie

Fu Rin

Upon knowing that this week is going to be a hectic week, I decided to pamper myself over the last weekend. First I went for a facial therapy and my face was creamed with vitamin cream just like glazing the whole cake. Don’t we just love pampering? Then without wasting any precious time I went for a real treat, freshly flown in sashimi at Fu-Rin which located not too far from my facial centre at Subang Jaya. The food here was truly fabulous and the place was full of comfort, truly relax.

Edamame
Edamame

I had Edamame as a light refreshing entrement. The warm blenched whole pea was done al dente, not overly cooked or too soft but filled with texture, nice and light! While sipping into my warm ocha, I saw the chef slicky preparing my salmon cut for my sashimi. I was truly excited! well as usual me! :)
