Wanted to make something for dinner and there I went to do some grocery shopping at nearby. Pork was too stressing for me as I had been playing kitchen with it for days, from pork knuckle to pork neck the pork belly. Well I was cleaning my freezer as that compartment was too congested with things I bought many weeks, months ago. I got to confess at now my freezer looks brighter and lighter. I am a real freak in buying and yet not able to use them. I am a bad boy!

He is brilliant yet he is sure a young and talented, Dim Sum Maestro Yau Kim Yew. I love his creativite play and truly a persone who will put upmost effort to think out of the box when comes to Dim Sum. Some may go overboard with their creation but Maestro Yau is one of those chefs that who I know who will go all out to maintain the substance and traditiion of a little petite dim sum. Nyonya Delights

Well when one ask me where I like to have my lunch, I would tell them I would love to stop my favourite nyonya mixed rice. Located not too far from my place just at the Neighbourhood Food Court, Dataran Sunaway. I just love few of their main dishes such as the mouthwatering golden fried pork coated with yummy caramelized bbd sauce, the tender wild boar curry a must have, even their pan fried mackerel coated with tamarind sauce and strings of fried gingers, their ‘sambal sotong’ squid and cockles are both to die for. I got to say their Nyonya Nasi Lemak can be a divine breakfast. Here you can also get Tom Yum Fried Mee Hoon as snacka while their Asam Vegetable is damn classic. Best time to lingering around this shop would be at 12noon as most disihes will parade themselves.

Individual Hot Steaming Basket Set Meal – Steamed Minced Pork Patty with Salted Fish

It had been for a while I have not been into this restaurant but I was fortunately to find my way into it’s dining area one evening just recently. I just love some of the dishes available here that truly understand what a client needs, something I had before but once lost over the years. Yes dishes that my mom and dad used to cook in their petite kitchen.Simple yet nostalgic dishes like steamed minced pork with salted egg yolk truly grasped my heart winning over and over. I can easily have it with two or even three bowls of white rice, at least wo of them might just be eaten with it’s salty yet fishy relinguished sauce. Therefore I guess do not need to say much about this salted fish with minced pork dish, you ust need to try it yourself. I bet you will be like me.

Restaurant East of Highway

Food always get people connected, it connects people and this time I get to lunch with some old frends and make a few new ones over a fabulous lunch at the East of Highway. The smooth Merlot was lingering over our thirst with such an ease, I had countless helpings.
