I love this dish, it is really nice especially with the present of the aroma of taucu bean paste. I cooked this dish using the pressure cooker and found the sauce retained inside the pot. Therefore I would recommend to reheat it on the stove to reduce the sauce (to thicken the sauce). I think it will be even nicer. The sauce from the pressure cooker itself it also damn tasty too. I am damn a fan for this dish and only can me found at most Malay restaurant here in Kuala Lumpur. This vegetable dish tapioca shoots/leaves has a very nice soft and yet crisp biting texture and fragrant with lots of coconut milk aroma and not forgetting the most important a dashing smart fresh turmeric and bird eye chilies.

Pao Xiang Bak Kut Teh at The Strand Kota Damansara

Me and my mum the two of decided to have Bak Kut Teh a herbal infused stewed pork dishes which just newly open at our neighbourhood here at The Strand Kota Damansara. Pao Xiang Bak Kut Teh is famous for it’s String Tied Meat and we ordered two dishes. A pot of warm Chinese for two is a must.

We ha Sai Kut which contained less fats and it was very tender and softly done to my liking. The lean pork was delicious too and truly impressed me on their quality. I just love to eat at Pao Xiang as you get to choose the meat that you like to have and the soup was really delicious and tasty. It you are in Kota Damansara, I would recommend Pao Xianf Bak Kut Teh.

DELECTABLE RAMADHAN BUFFET

I had been breaking fast with some of my muslim friends last week and the restaurants that came to play were awesome and we dine at Eccucino, Flavors Restaurant and Sun & Surf Cafe. Oh by the way we were so lucky, as I am a frequent diner, we get to dine with the chefs at two of the restaurants that we visited. :)
