I adore his creation and his foresight towards his modern Chinese cuisine. His creation always amazed me and yet at anytime he can just pull out surprises especially when I was dining at his chef’s table. Executive Chinese Chef Roy Wong is definitely one of the BEST Chinese chef in town that accommodate with a fabulous modern twist and still preserve the taste and flavour. He definitely belts with the great fabulous cooking technic that makes his creation unique. The New Kim Ma came with a whole remake over that caught my awesome liking attention and having the present of Chef Roy Wong’s creation, I am sure one will experience the ultimate dining experience from sight, smell and taste. Definitely a bomb of goodness waiting to be discovered.

My cruise on board the Chinese New Year boat of review was sailing well. This opening year of 2014 I will be taking less CNY feast review compared to last year 2013. Having so much work on hand is no joke and no fun, having them finish can be a no ending task. This year I keep it trimmed and simple yet not too many rather selective. So one of the restaurant I had put my tasting experience was at Luk Yu Tea House featuring Chef Loong.

It was a fabulous lunch meet with friends from the media in a private room. Yes it had been ages that I meet them, that day it was brilliant, thank to my dearest Kattie. We had dim sum over brewed Chinese tea. We started of with a few basket of crystal jade skin prawn dumpling which was delish to my liking. A firm crunch texture of the prawn that ended with a fresh sea sweet. While the skin gave a superb biting texture. Not too bad.

When I saw this photo recipe at Ah Wong Chai’s facebook I knew I must give this recipe a try. I took his recipe and improvised to suit pressure cooking. More prep work is needed this time, and pan frying the ingredients is needed before placing into the pressure cooker. Coat the lamb with the mixture, placed the ingredients into the pressure cooker pot close the cover and start cooking.

This Ramadan, break your fast under the magical moonlight and starry sky with numerous Malaysian-style hawker stalls buffet spread. The live Ghazal performances will ensure that you dine in style. I was there for the food during a recent preview. The first thing that came to my mind was their whole BBQ lamb. It was truly lovely. I was given a piece of jewel, I very moist and succulent lamb which came from the middle part. Was told not to indugle the hard ones.

Yup it was not a bad ride over the weekend as traffic is much quieter. We sky over to the next neighbourhood Bandar Mahkota Cheras to try out this well known Thai restaurant by the name of Somcit.
