Nasi Lemak Atan Chow Kit

Nasi Lemak Atan 2
Rows of Atan’s Packed Nasi Lemak

Having to attend events that ends at late night can be tricky to find something to eat except to be present at a mamak stall. I always like to defunct on my schedule. I diverted to Chow Kit night market and surpisingly got my bamboo starfruit and something I would like to try on, a bunch of tapioca shots/leaves. The ferns will definitely to be cooked with dense coconut milk, turmeric and birds eye chili. After the buying and negotiating, it was time to have an early morning breakfast. The nearest and not so heavy indulgence would best to drop by Atan’s Nasi Lemak, just across.

Mr Teppanyaki Set Meal at only RM12

Mr Teppanyaki.

When a friend of mine told me about this up coming RM12 teppanyaki deal, I straight went searching for some of my food shots taken a few weeks ago at Mr Teppanyaki. In fact me and mate were shopping at Berjaya Time Square and I was craving for teppanyaki. I like their pan fried salmon, firmly glazed with aroma of caramalised soy sauce. But I got to say a RM12 set deal with either salmon or prawn and a drink is defintely a great buy.

Buka Puasa at Manhattan Fish Market

Salam Over Spice
Salam Over Spices

Meeting up with friends over dinnner and picking the right venue can sometimes be rather tricky. As for me I rather would pick a place nerby and not too far as to beat the evening traffic jam. The food must be good too. Staying nearby The Curve I picked the dinner at e@Curve and we went for The ManhattanFish Market Restaurant. Since I had read a good review on Mei Yee’s blog, I opted for their Bumbu Fiesta Meal.

Buka Puasa with a Brazalian Twist at Chatz Brasserie PARKROYAL Kuala Lumpur

Carving
Carving The Whole Lamb

Attending a Ramadan berbuka Puasa can be rather exciting. Lots of varities offered and many pleasing dishes to pick. One that got me truly satisfied was this one at PARKROYAL Kuala Lumpur. The Chatz Brasserie.

The first thing that got me excited was spotting the golden roasted lamb, ” I must have that little lamb not Mary” I told myself jokingly. It was such an eye catching piece of half whole roasted lamb. I like mine not too lean and must be moist, having the crisp skin to go with it is a must. That night the lamb was truly outstanding, it was done the Brazilian way. Superb and it was done perfectly accurate, not too dry. By the way I like how the young gorgeous chef carved the lamb. He included it with an awesome smile! It was a perfect evening.

Stylish Fusion With Bursting Flavours

D'Fortune

When we arrived at the entrance of this café, we were welcome by this beautifully wood crafted panel with the word D’Fortune, so lovely. The day was lovely, so we decided to have our lunch outside and ordered a few cup of the lite warm lemon tea which was really really good and tasty.

Here came the lamb shank, it was tasty, crispy on the outside and meat is so tender and delicious. It came with homemade mashed potato which was smashingly delicious and not from those dried potato flakes which taste horrified. There were also cherry tomatoes, green beans and cauliflower.

Oh next came the heavenly tortilla filled with chicken sliced and melted mozzarella cheese. Guess what, there was salsa sauce to go with it too. The tortilla was awesome and soft and the mozzarella really melted my heart.

seafoodpasta

Oh next seafood pasta dish is something to shout about. I am not so sure what goes into this fried spaghetti but it was so fragrant and yummy delicious. It was the tastiest pasta dish that I ever had, prawn and squid were very fresh and not forgetting the mussels too.

sausages

Strangely came a huge plate fill with a variety of pan fried sausages. There were chicken and turkey filled with garlic, herbs and black pepper. It was tasty but I prefer to have thicker ones.

I thought we were going to have deep fried spring chicken but this devil looks rather smaller, oh! It was the “Sar Thin Kai” brought from Perak. It was nice, the meat was tender and the skin was crispy.

sartinkai

Oh! The finale, we had pan fried dory fish with baked melted cheese and accompany with olio-olio spaghetti. The fish was cooked to perfection and no fishy smell at all. We loved it!

Look we had a great feast!
