I had been really caught up with work lately and trying to make a come back on posting can be really a tough thing to do. As usually I can’t get things done at home, not sure why. But I am back at lower gear mode but I am sure by the end of the day I will be fine. A comeback kid. Last night had a great bit at Popeye’s and tried their newly launched sitcky wicked chicken while having a great company of an awesome host Klieo. Well back to my discovery of food in Kepong, I was introduce to this restaurant by blogger Chasing Food Dreams. This foodie got hooked and I was requested to tagged a long on their second round. Summer Park Restaurant Bukit Tinggi Bentong

Restaurant Summer Park Beancurd Sandwich
Sandwich Beancurd

Heading to Bukit Tinggi just after the Genting Highland Tunnel can be such an exciting thing to do. Well we had a vegetable farming visit at the hills of Bukit Tinggi. It was truly specteclar, riding over the bumpy and muddy hill. Just like riding a wild horse, on the back of the rustice jeep. Walking up those hilly cultivated land can be such a challenge especially for me having such a overly build body. “I must start exercising more frequent from now on”, I fried my little tiny brain.

I am truly glad that I did not need to pick which restaurant to have lunch as along one road at Bukit Tinggi you can just see a sea of restaurants lining up to serve your hunger. Our host did the pick! The Summer Park Restaurant located on the far left of the main road as you turn into the little town.

Dim Sum as breakfast? Why not make you own personalized Dim Sum?” I was told by the lady sitting across me while sipping her petite cup of chinese tea. “Sounds interesting, definitely exciting” I told myself quietly. Indulging such gourmet at home lazily over the weekend will defitely be the right choice with family members and even some close friends.

So a week ago I was invited to attend a Dim Sum class at Nikko Hotel wth Chef Lo Tian So, I could not turn it down even with such a full tight schedule I had recently. Well I had been busy preparing my new classes, photo shooting, interviews, baking and also a few new projects.

The deco was simple and a refreshing lemon green dominated the backdrop of this place, my type of colour!

CHINA TREASURES Sime Darby Convention Centre

China Treasure

The newly reopening with great style recently was the China Treasures, the well-loved Halal fine dining Chinese restaurant in Sime Darby Convention Centre at Bukit Kiara. The restaurant was refurbished tastefully with subtle, contemporary decor influenced by oriental elegance and can now accommodate up to 150 persons.

I felt so at home having to able to watch the chefs cooking in style as it had its own new open kitchen that came with a large indoor aquarium filled with fish, oyster, lobster, geo ducks, prawns and crabs, just an amazing view while dining.
