Got to give a huge applause to GUinness for organising such an amazing occasion. Already had a few gigantic dishes then came the Roasted Pork Lion with GUINNESS® sauce. The pork loin was lovely, truly moist and having such a tenderness texture had gave an awesome goodness feeling. I felt so blessed indeed. It was spot on. Guinness sauce infused the taste and flavour. Fabulous.

Craft Your Own Prince Hotel White Coffee Baked Mooncake

10 Prince_Freshly_Baked_Moon_Cake

Lunar worshiping and moon watching are part of the ritual during the night of the celebration day while mooncakes are offered between friends and even during family gatherings. The 15th day of the 8th Lunar month happened to fall on mid September this year and the Mid-Autumn Festival or “Zhongqiu” Festival will be celebrated. Mooncake was treated as luxury when I was a child and my dad will make sure we will have a least a box for this special occasion. We the kids we jumping up and down with joy when the mooncake was sliced and looking at the golden orangy salted duck egg yolk was just a glowing jewel with dismay.

SUNNY’S MACARONS featured on Oriental Life

It is really awesome to have read about my macarons recently featured on the Oriental Life section of the Oriental Daily Newspaper. Macarons are an awesome petite dessert, light crisp on the outside, soft as you bite in, gooey as it hits your teeth and ends with a creamy fillings to indulge. They are just an extra-ordinary in taste with a class of it’s own.

Having to able to make them at perfectly, it had taken me ages of trying, experimenting and playing within my small little kitchen. It was defintely a fun thing to do. While embarking into teaching more students into mastering this little jewels was truly my mission and having to see more growing macaron fans can be such a satifying thing to see happening right this moment in Kuala Lumpur.
