When I meet Joseph Afaki that was some time in 2008 where I fingered into the Lebanese cuisine at Al Amar. The food then was very authentic and simply unique. In early year 2011 the food took to even a higher height, refined and into great detailing. My own interpretation, Al Amar definitely progressing very well in creating an outstanding International Lebanese cuisine in Kuala Lumpur. Al Amar defintely has a very strong, dynamic and dedicated team players in creating inspiring food.

Simplicity Pastry Chocolate Tartlet with Chef Gerald Maridet

My most desireable dessert over the weekend would be having a cup of coffee over a dark chocolate tartlet. A fabulous bitter sweet chocolate. Having to try almost a lot of recipes and I found this one from Chef Gerald Maridet can be very overwhelming. Very decadent. Full of simplicity. Easy to follow.

Easter Chocolate

Easter is just round the corner and indulging chocolate will be a way to spend especially on such a festive occasion. I was also excited too as I was eyeing those awesome goodness chocolate. I was rather lucky as I managed to get Chef Holger Deh Executive Pastry Chef of The Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur to share some of his delicious creations.
