Berbuka Puasa at Swez Brasserie Eastin Hotel Petaling Jaya

Reminiscing the Singing Legend Dato’ Sudirman Arshad during Ramadan at Eastin Hotel Petaling Jaya

Ramadan at Eastin Hotel Petaling Jaya 1

Last night I dropped by to attend a ramadan tasting and it was keep to the taste at their best, I got to pen down here as a pure statement that I like their Patin fish cooked in fermented durian sauce. The smell can be not appealing to some but the taste and flavour was definitely my thing. I am suckes for strong flavour dishes. Their Deep fried garoupa fish coated with water pple salad was damn interesting and the present of Asian hrebs boosted up the whole fish dish, defintely my thing.

It had been a great weekend thank to GAB for getting us up to Genting Highland to celebrate Oktoberfest at The Patio. It was fun and filled with awesome goodness, and yet so comfort looking at happy enjoyed faces that came with great smiles, laughters and joy. I got to say my stay was truly filled with comfort as I had at least two warm long bath dips within my arrival. :) Last week I was invited to try out the buffet at the Terazza Brasserie Grand Dorsett Hotel.

Yes another busy weekend in getting my home stuff done and now I managed some time on this early morning to do a wee bit posting. Travel to Ipoh on a weekend can be so fun. I had a stop-over at Sungkai on the way back and did a great short exploration. I had my Dim Sum-ing lunch while hauled home with the street value of RM100 worth of Dim Sum. Yes I can be so crazy but what can I do as the Dim Sums was truly heaven in this little small town. Craving, craving me!

Food & Travel Magazine – July 2011 issue

Having to meet up with the publisher over and over again was such a hilarious thing to do over the first half of 2011. But on July 2011 my first work was published. The Food & Travel Magazine. I got to admit it was worth every sweat that had taken place and I knew I am back strong for this second half of 2011. Thanks to Cecilia & David plus my mates who believe me. It is going to be exciting.

Buka Puasa with a Brazalian Twist at Chatz Brasserie PARKROYAL Kuala Lumpur

Carving
Carving The Whole Lamb

Attending a Ramadan berbuka Puasa can be rather exciting. Lots of varities offered and many pleasing dishes to pick. One that got me truly satisfied was this one at PARKROYAL Kuala Lumpur. The Chatz Brasserie.

The first thing that got me excited was spotting the golden roasted lamb, ” I must have that little lamb not Mary” I told myself jokingly. It was such an eye catching piece of half whole roasted lamb. I like mine not too lean and must be moist, having the crisp skin to go with it is a must. That night the lamb was truly outstanding, it was done the Brazilian way. Superb and it was done perfectly accurate, not too dry. By the way I like how the young gorgeous chef carved the lamb. He included it with an awesome smile! It was a perfect evening.
