There were four dishes created for this promotion, Chipotle Caesar Salad, Kickin’ Shrimp, Salmon & Chipotle Garlic Shrimp, Filet Medallions & Smoky Apple Beef Ribs Combo and three drinks Pina Colada, Pina Strawberry Swirl and Pina Mango Swirl to go with them. The night was pleasant with good food and good company of friends.

At Ming Palace we were greeted with a wholesome Salmon and Dragonfruit Yee Sang dish that caught me with such a delight this Chinese New Year. The dense sweet sauce was good ad laced well over the ingredients and gave the dish an interesting refreshing twist of taste. The slices of salmon were adorable and that was the first thing I was looking for.

Ippudo ramen restaurant, famed for its delicious ramen, recently launched its full-range Japanese bar at Bangsar Shopping Centre. Presenting their launch was Ippudo Regional Operations consultant Tomo Kudo, who hopes to introduce Japanese bar culture to discerning Malaysians. I have never been to Japan, and was eager to soak in Ippudo’s vision of the heart of Tokyo. According to Tomo-san, Ippudo wanted to give Malaysians a taste of Japan’s famous nightlife, right here in Kuala Lumpur. To do so, Ippudo had reserved an outdoor area, next to their restaurant, complete with a dedicated bar, high tables , wine chiller and bar shelves to display authentic Japanese alcohol.

Lunar New Year Feast Begin at Toh Yuen Chinese Restaurant Hilton Petaling Jaya

It’s my first time here at Toh Yuen Chinese Restaurant at Hilton Petaling Jaya and this premises at recent had walk through a fabulous interior styling. It looked amazingly gorgeous, grand, luxurious and slick, definitely a place I would love to be dining in. The first dish to grace the Chinese New Year was a gorgeously platted Salmon and Chinese Pear Yee Sang. It was colourfully attractive, the sauce was amazingly delicious. The julienne of fruits, pickles and crackers gave the great story of this dish, The Yee Sang.
