CHINA TREASURES Sime Darby Convention Centre

China Treasure

The newly reopening with great style recently was the China Treasures, the well-loved Halal fine dining Chinese restaurant in Sime Darby Convention Centre at Bukit Kiara. The restaurant was refurbished tastefully with subtle, contemporary decor influenced by oriental elegance and can now accommodate up to 150 persons.

I felt so at home having to able to watch the chefs cooking in style as it had its own new open kitchen that came with a large indoor aquarium filled with fish, oyster, lobster, geo ducks, prawns and crabs, just an amazing view while dining.

Last week I was invited for a food indulge at Pizza Hut to try out thier newly launch Crunchy Cheesy Bites Pizza. Unlike normal pizzas that have a smooth round crust, the new Crunchy Cheesy Bites pizza is cut around the edges, creating bite-size pieces all around its crust that gives pizza lovers a unique crunchy and cheesy eating experience all at the same time.

When I arrived at Pizza Hut, I meet Sloppy Chic, our DLSR King Ken of Foodpoi, Christopher, Jessica, Witch, Saucer and our celebrity SuperWilson. On that night we had a surprise installed for SuperWilson. read more at the end of the this post! :)

XENRI D’GARDEN TERRACE MIGF

Xentri D'Garden Terrace

Xenri D’Garden Terrace located at the podium block of Menara Hap Seng along P. Ramlee Road, Kuala Lumpur played as our host for the day. This time a few of us got to taste with pure pleasure on their MIGF Festival Signature Menu. This time Xenri D’Garden Terrace offered us a truly memorable journey featuring scrumptious medleys of textures, flavours and fine detailing presentation. SAGANO Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel MIGF

sagano

SAGANO was my first Japanese restaurant to visit on my MIGF list, a very simple elegant with a home feel flush decorated restaurant, very comfortable indeed. This restaurant is located at the Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel and with Chef Yastoshi Ito’s Japanese authentic, innovative and meticulously prepared culinary creations to indulge the diners. That night we were there to taste his creation and to be more authentic in culture we decidedd not to pair the festival signature creations with the picked wines but we have them with the in-house selected sake instead. I had been noted for my sharp taste in Japanese food amount my Japanese friend in Kyoto and I just can’t wait to indulge into Chef Yasutoshi Ito’s creations.
