Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie Nostalgia Ramadhan at Kites Restaurant


Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie will be preparing a feast with key highlights, personal favourite dishes of Malaysian legands P.Ramlee and Sudirman. In honour of P.Ramlee chefs will be preparing Kari Ikan Bawak, Burung Puyuh and Kurma Kambing. Each of this favourite dishes has been named after the famous movies to bring back nostalgic memories. On the other hand Sudirman’s favourite dishes which dishes includes Patin Gulai Tempoyak, Gulai Asam Rom and Gulai Siput Sedut



There will be a good variety of dishes available at 22 different stalls/cooking stations around the restaurant during the entire month, featuring a nostalgic “kampung” experience from the 50s-60s. During the tasting session, we were just given a sneak preview of what’s to come, so be prepared for a satisfying break fast time with family & friends





From the 1st – 7th day of the Ramadan month (+ 4th July Nuzul Al-Quran & Sundays), you’ll get to enjoy the buffet spread at RM115.00 nett per adult, RM85.00 nett/senior citizen/child, while from the 8th day onwards, it’ll be RM125.00 nett per adult, RM95.00 nett per senior citizen/child.





P.Ramlee is Malaysian’s multi-talented iconic entertainer, actor, singer and composer during the 1950’s. He has created over 250 original classic songs and became a famous household names adored by Malaysian society. He was awarded the best male actor, best comedy actor at Asian Film Festival in 1959 and was also awarded as Asia’s Most versatile talent.

A legendary actor and singer by profession, Sudirman is known to be Malaysia’s number one entertainer for his spirited performances and memorable songs. Borned in Temerloh Pahang, the legendary singer won many international awards during the 1980’s
