CARNATION® collaborates with Malaysia’s “Queen of Dessert” to celebrate the wholesome life.
CARNATION® in collaboration with International recording artiste and MasterChef Soo Wincci presented CARNATION® Go Gourmet Cooking Workshop to share “Kitchen Secrets” at Tesco Extra Mutiara Damansara recently.
Held in conjunction with CARNATION® Go Gourmet campaign, the highlights of the event included an exclusive cooking demo and sharing session by Soo Wincci. Wincci delighted invited guests, blogger friends, fans and members of the media with 3 signature dishes co-created with CARNATION®.
As the first contestant who succeeded to the finals of Malaysia’s Celebrity MasterChef in year 2012, Wincci expressed excitement when asked about the collaboration, “When CARNATION® approached me, I thought this would be very much me because I love to cook! I get lots of satisfaction cooking for my loved ones. It may be through simple ways of delighting my co-stars with simple meals or baking for my close friends; cooking is my gift of love that brought me closer with my loved ones.”
“I’m thrilled to be here today to cook for my fans and friends. I was only 5 years old when I first stepped foot into the kitchen experimenting dishes for my family although I was constantly being chased out. For most who didn’t know, I have also created several signature dishes such as ‘Coffee Chicken’, which contains CARNATION® Evaporated Creamer as a special ingredient too”, Wincci cheekily added.
Present at the event was Ms. Eileen Chan, Category Head of F&N Dairies who commented on combining forces with Soo Wincci. Eileen said, “When we heard about Wincci’s love and passion for cooking, we were immediately interested. Wincci loves to cook but as a former beauty queen, MasterChef, singer and actress, we understand she wouldn’t have the time. However, the interest was mutual and Soo Wincci whole hearted was eager to jump on the CARNATION® bandwagon.”

As a lead up to the CARNATION® Go Gourmet Cooking Workshop, CARNATION® together with Soo Wincci has been on a food expedition to produce a series of 10 minisodes of CARNATION® Food Travelogue program which airs on Sundays between 10.00 pm – 10.15 pm on Astro AEC and Tuesdays at 7.58 pm on 8TV. Apart from introducing signature dishes that uses CARNATION® Evaporated Creamer, Soo Wincci also plays the role as a chef to showcase easy to go gourmet recipes, proving the household brand as a reliable cooking helpmate that allows one to create consistently delicious meals.
In the meantime, a CARNATION® Go Gourmet with Soo Wincci contest is currently ongoing where participants will just have to submit 2 CARNATION® labels with the contest form and answer a simple question to win a flavourful trip to Hong Kong with Soo Wincci.
