He is dashing young and yet a very seasoned chef that I had been following, he is Chef Alexander Waschl at The Restaurant, The Club Saujana Resort. His food creation is marvellous and exciting yet irresistible. Chef Alexander Waschl is like those kind of chef who truly a dedicated chef and puts a lot of effort into perfecting his dishes. This round he came up with a few awesome dedicated on Black Angus and Wagyu beef, a total of 11 brilliant electrifying dishes!
The savoury lobster panna cotta was so elegant in taste, such a classic posh rich with flavour. Silky smooth and tenderly soft as to describe the experience. It was an adorable and very suiting to start that got me heavenly excited.
The next dish was finely executed, a brilliant detailed Black Angus Beef Carpaccio that came with a smooth Dijon mustard mousse, a hint od sweet dashing red onion chutney, bread chips and some added taste of garden herbs. Very classy indeed!
I love this, something soft and tender yet played so well in my mouth, its chef’s Spiced Black Angus Beef Tartar. It was so elegantly plated and so eye catching indeed, very colourful too. The dish itself came with a topped pan fried quail egg and accompanied with house marinated Mediterranean vegetable. Very appetizing.
Having a warm soup for me is something I treasure compared to a cold chilled one. The Oxtail Consomme was very comforting indeed, it was lusting with me. lol! The shallow plate came with handmade oxtail ravioli and vegetable balls, it was good but I prefer the pastry slight softer but it was al dente-ly done.
As for the heavy mains, each guest gets to pick theirs and I had a fabulous delicious Soya Braised Organic Beef Cheek. Oh my the beef cheek tasted awesome, tenderly soft and it had that melts in your mouth texture than got me over excited that moment. The beef cheek definitely had a great braised till tender and the soy sauce tasted brilliantly. I am defintied all for this dish, my favourite . . . definitely.
My neighbour on the right had this Wagyu Beef Striploin was juicy and tenderly done. I was so jealous as I had a small tasting bite from her as we were sharing. lol! This dish came with oven roasted sweet corn on the cop, baked potato, sour cream and herb butter jus. Very hard to resist !
As from far we saw someone indulging this auspicious Deluxe Wagyu Beef Burger. It was pretty and looked very appealing and appetizing but I was not so lucky, sadly didn’t get a bite. Anyway there were foie gras shavings, sautéed onion, Portobello mushroom, cheddar cheese, home pickled gherkins and hand cut potato chips.
The Olive Oil Poached Black Angus Beef Tenderloin looked nice and was told it was good. This dish came with pan roasted potato gnocchi, garlic beans and horseradish cream.
This Wok Roasted Cubes of Black Angus Beef Tenderloin was cooked well as I managed to grab a bite from my opposite guest. I like the teriyaki sauce being put to play in this dish, steamed Basmati rice was being paired with and accompanied with braised vegetable and spring onion. Not a bad attempt by chef.
The Grilled Wagyu Beef Tenderloin looked so suiting and one of the best cut at the Restaurant. Did not manage to try t out as it was at far with another guest who did not want to share its plate. Anyway this dish came with truffle risotto, sautéed spinach and black pepper sauce.
The Black Angus Beef Skewer looked simple and tucked elegantly with mixed green lettuce, yellow and red pepper accompanied with BBQ sauce.
Oh my neighbour on the left handed me a small piece of her Light Smoked Black Angus Beef Ribeye which took me with great surprise, is was brilliant piece. The dish came with organic herbs, mashed potato and grilled vegetables.
The dinner came to an end with gorgeous warm Vanilla Souffle and Gula Melaka Ice Cream, it was brilliant. The dinner was so perfect and wholesome. The Restaurant truly had me pampered well over their crafts, an elegant dinner with a perfect atmosphere.
