Tai Thong Mid-Autumn Poon Choy

I was excited as I was invited to try out the Poon Choy at Imperial China Restaurant Subang Jaya. The Poon Choy came in a claypot and was filled up with Tian Jin cabbage, lotus root, beancurd stick, wheat gluten, white radish, celery, poached chicken, roast duck, broccoli, pig trotters, mushroom, fish maw, dried yster, prawns and golden fish ball.

The sauce that soaked up into the various item in the claypot truly taste delicious and filled with divine aroma. It was good. I had the sauce laced over my stir fried assorted grains that composed of brown rice, pine nuts and white rice.

We were served an individual portion of wholesome double boiled village chicken soup with truffle. It was a very captivating soup and full of flavour. It felt rejuvenated within minutes after indulging into my bowl of soup. I felt fresh.

Turbot Fish (Deep Fried with Celery)

The turbot was grand and making it’s way to the dining table. The turbot fish was sliced thick and was given a light stir fried with celery.

Stir Fried Assortment Grains

The assortment of grains where given a light work fried and it was wok fragrantly done. It was brilliantly done and it captivated my liking.
