The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur was built in 1932 as one of colonial Malaya’s finest hotel. In its heyday it was one of the great hotels in Asia. YTL Hotels at present had successfully sperheaded restoring of The Majestic, from the exquisite and original five storey building to a beautiful annexe that complements the property’s much treasured historicity. For me, the Majestic itself had turned into a living jewel with grace and beauty. My stop that noon was at The Colonial Cafe and my lense had captured a glimpse of its elegance.
This living legend at the Majestic Wing contained of a lifely living space that can acc0modate about 120 seats. As for the menu it was carefully designed with classic colonial dishes such as chicken chop, seafod platter, prawn cocktail and weekend roasts. While Hainanese dishes were kept to its refine best.
Relaxing with comfort over a few conversation, the tea lounge will be the best to be. Fingering into the scones with jam while sipping a cup of artisan tea can be such a pleasure. I just love its interior and setting, definitely felt like living in a part of a sanctuary.
