Dr. Marceline Lemarie, Organising Chairperson of World Marketing Summit Malaysia 2013 giving her opening speech, “Project Hope, an integral initiative of the World Marketing Summit Malaysia 2013, is very happy to be able to provide less-privileged children the opportunity to have better futures by exposing them to inspirational personalities as well as aspirational activities. Additionally, the WMSM2013 is very excited to have international brands participating in our mission – it is precisely this mindset of creating a better world through marketing that we want to cultivate with marketers throughout the world: that profit & purpose should co-exist, and that social purpose is the new DNA of business. The delivery of the UN’s MDGs rests on public-private partnership – the shared responsibility of the private and public sector to lift the socio-economic status of the less fortunate resides at the very core of MDGs,” said chairperson of WMS Malaysia 2013, Dr.Marceline Lemarie.
