The Estate at Intermark Kuala Lumpur
Having a meal at a cosy and most relaxing place can be such a fruitful thing to embark on. Well, I got to admit I got that at The Estate by BIG. Love the setting and backdrop of this eatery located at Intermark. I found it was truly invaded by colonial style yet rusticly in placed.
Before the feast we were served with lovely assorted breads that came with delicious spread of Echire butter. It was really a delicious snack to tease our hunger at that particular moment.
It lmay ooked simple and yet it tasted magnificentlly delicious. Yes I was referring to The Estate’s poarched egg. Having a gentle slit a cross the egg came the running drips of egg yolk. Yes it amazed me right away. My heart was pumping fast. I sensed the present of thinly slice of truffle layered over the hollandaise sauce. I bet you knew I cleaned the plate with the left-over bread till it glowed.
It was light and was pleasant to look at, the Nicoise salad that came to the table. The plate was filled with light refreshing greens topped with amazingly beautiful slices of tataki tuna and hard boiled egg.
What amazed me that day was their Lobster linguine. It had a very strong color and presentation. It was hard not to take notice. I just love the bursting texture of the lobster, it was firm and with delightful biting texture. The linguine was done to my liking, al-dente. Overall it was the wining dish of the day. Yes everyone wanted to own it just for themself. Yes it was an excellent dish.
The Chicken Tikka was very well dressed with great marination. It was succulent in taste and came in pairs. It had a yoghurt dipping, a portion of rice and salad at the side. Great flavour and taste good.
Oh our eyes got freezed for minutes when we were served with their beer roasted spring chicken. It was funny and yet nice that our chicken was served over a can of beer. The spring chicken was well roasted and tasted really good. The roasted spring chicken truly had a distinct beer taste and smell. Very uniquely done, love it. So yummy and a well tentatively roasted chicken in town.
The grilled striplion steak came next. It was grilled perfectly to the request, near done. It was tender and nice. A simple steak that taste good.
The dessert looked rather messy but it was nice to taste. Not overly sweet and came with a macaron too.
The butter and bread was nice to spoon into. A very home comfy dessert.
