SOI THAI at DESA PARK WATERFRONT

At recent I attended the opening of a new Thai restaurant by the name of Soi Thai located at The WaterFront, Desa Park City. When I was there I noticed the modern contemporary with simplicity interior, purple, pink and white in colours painted the whole scene. Soi Thai Restaurant a member of Pulai Group offers a great delicious selection of authnertic Thai cuisine. Just to name a few, Thai Red Curry with Roasted duck, Thai style Otak-Otak, Choo-Chee Thai Red Curry Deep Fried Siakap Fish, Signature Fire Pot with Seafood Tom Yam and Steamed Siakap with Lime and Chilli Sauce.

DRINKS: PANDAN ICE WATER & THAI ICE TEA

Every single time of my visit to any Thai restaurant, the drink that I must order will be their iced cube Pandan Water. A simple fragrant water drink laced with fregrant pandan leafs. During my earlier visit before the launching, I was recommended to this delicious Thai Iced Tea. It was as delicious as it looked. It was rather addictive. :)

THAI MONEY BAGS

During my earleir tasting visit, I tried their deep fried Thai money bag which was interesting and yet surprising. I just like the crisp of the pastry while the fillings kept me going. It was moist and deliciously done, while dippin it inot the Thai chilli sauce just added the intensity. It was good, makes a great entry for the start.

POMELO SALAD

POMELO SALAD seems to be a fun dish to enjoy, a very refreshing salad that contain a lot of bursting juices. Here it served with huge chunck of pomelo glaced with light Thai chilli sauce and toasted with fresh poarched shrimps. Simple and tasty.

SEAFOOD TOM YAM

The SEAFOOD TOM YAM was another attraction here at Soi Thai, cooked with fresh natural ingredients and herbs. The Tom Yam was done to my liking, very refreching in taste.

OTAK-OTAK

The otak-otak here shined with birght orange in colour and was prepared in cubes while contained over a banana leafs. Taste very refreshing as fresh herbs are put into play. Tasty I think! :)

RED DUCK CURRY

Just love their RED DUCK CURRY, having a good red curry sauce played an important role in this dish. It also flavoured the roasted duck. If you ask me how it fare? My anwer would, Just rerfectly deloicious!

The restaurant does fabulous desserts, Mango Sticky Rice topped with Coconut Milk, Steamed Sweet Banana topped with Vanilla Ice Cream, Jackfruit in Coconut Milk and many more installed. I tasted their sweet poarched tapoica with cocnut milk which was favourite . . . . . . .truly a enjoyable meal, Sidney Kan . . . must try!
