It was so Parisian that noon. I got to confess that sipping into my freshly brewed coffee was such an intriging thing to do. Full with such an aroma definitely a great day to sit down and stratergies work. But I was not here to get work going but rather getting out my tasting bud ready. Yup, I was at Delifrance Mid Valley for a joyous food escapism.
Before dotting down my experiences, I got to let you know that Delifrance is having a RM5 meal at Everyday.com.my today starting at 10am. There are four selection to pick Seafood Sandwich or Pasta Creamy Red Tomate or Beef Bolognaise or Chicken Bolognaise . Every meal comes with a glass of Sjora drink (Mango Peach or Tropical Pineapple). While you can add RM3 for Drink Upgrade either a cup of Cappuccino or Latte. This is truly fabulous! Defintely this will be my office lunch-ing!
I had a cup of brewed coffee as I remember my friend Janice in Singapore kept raving about the coffee and I know why, simply filled with aroma. I like it as a cuppa can get my day work done with ease.
The boys had something chilled each, a delicious ice latte and a ice coffee. I can smell the aroma from at far A great chiller I was told.
Strange but true. I was truly hooked with this, their Baguette Tahiti Pizza. It’s so addictive. Smeel really good and it was served warm which caught my liking. So divine, do try! Defintely made me bite more.
Soup is a must for me and I had a seafood soup. I love it. The presentation was interesting and spooning into it was filled with great pleasure. Upon seeng the boys sitting next to me, I decided to share it with them. ” Oh lovely soup Sid !”, shouted to me with a gentle smile. A thumbs up given by the boys.
Everytime when I found myself at Delifrance, their pastryies will always come to play. Visualizing the croissant can be really sexy and I always have a laugh at myself for being such a nutter over their croissant. But I really love them. Playing it by peeling every layers can be very fun and so goes with the pie crust. The pie was really flaky nice, crisp on top. As for the filling, I prefer loads of creamy sauce and I am sure you will disagree with me big time. Just me I guess!
Filling up my croissnt with seafood filling was truly my cup of tea. I had been wanting to have a sandwhich like this for ages. I got this addiction since I was at University in Scotland, Getting to a samdhich bar is so handy at that time, simple and fast. Just loved it.
The Pasta Chicken Bolognaise was placed infront of me wanting me to fork in. I was truly tempting. The pasta was done perfect al dente while the bolognaise sauce was done tasty and light.
As for the Pasta Creamy Red Tomate the pasta was done al dante too, nice. The creamy sauce was tasty topped with slices of chicken loaf and shrimps. for this dish I prefer the sauce to be slightly thicker and more intense as I like heavy taste.
I just love looking at the gorgeous fruit flan and forking into it was such a divine thing to do. It was lovely and we truly enjoyed our meal. I definitely be back for more! . . . . . . . Sideny Kan loves it!
