The buffet dinner at Kites is priced at RM 88++ for adults

As to celebrate the holy month of Ramadhan, Kites Restaurant at Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie will be offering a delicious spread of delectable cuisines for breaking fast starting from 1st of August till 29th of August. The spread of delicious buffet are carefull selected and we got the chance for glimpse recently.

“Ayam Panggang Berempah” Grill Chicken

This Buka Puasa, there are more than 120 local and international dishes being featured in the buffet dinner. Indulge in delightful traditional Malay dishes coupled with a range of local favourites specially prepared by their team of chefs. Featuring a cross selection of regional favorites from appetizers, condiments, main dishes to desserts and beverages. Those wanting more than a local spread can opt for the international buffet items. Tehre will be 14 dedicated stalls displaying wide spread of goodies for example “Mee Goreng Corner”, Bugis Style Chicken Rice Stall, Sup Gear Box with Noodles and Assorted Bread Stall, Indian Specialities Stall, Roast Whole Lamb, Grill Chicken and Beef & Lamb Satay with condiments Stall.

This year, Kites Restaurant will be maintaining its famous dishes from previous years, while converting its poolside and Gazebo area into a complete traditional Ramadhan feast! To compliment the atmosphere, a live ‘Ghazal Performance’ will be featured to keep the guest entertained as they break their fast.

Duck Egg Cooked in Thick Coconut Paste

Expect treats such as Kambing Mamak, a spicy and fragrant lamb curry with the recipe specially created for this Ramadhan that will leave you craving you for more. Next hot item on the menu is Gearbox Soup, a dish so much in demand last year that it makes a come back this year with Braised beef knee caps together with a traditional mix of spices, served with condiments such as fried shallots and fresh lime.

One of the chef’s signature dish – Singapore Murtabak, a delicious masala paste vegetables filling, grilled to perfection and coated with crispy minced meat that will definitely set your taste buds to the next level.

Oysters in Oyster Sauce

Other Specialty Dishes:
Roast Whole Lamb – Carved on the spot at one of our live action stalls and served on a juicy bed of cous-cous.
Ayam Bugis Panggang – Special roast chicken marinated with salam leaves, tamarind and dried shrimp paste.
Other items include authentic Malay desserts, and Daging Deng Deng, Pulut Kuning, and Ikan Bakar.

The buffet dinner at Kites is priced at RM 88++ for adults while for children and senior citizens it is priced at RM 50++.
There is a special price from 1-10 August where for adults the buffer dinner is priced at RM 78++ for adults and RM 40++ for children and senior citizens. Book early in July and get heavy discounts- terms and conditions apply.

A Great Spread of Desserts

After the end of Ramadhan, Kites Restaurant will also be featuring dinner and lunch for open house which is priced at RM 75++ for dinner and RM 55++ for lunch from 1st to 31st of September. Group bookings are also accepted and groups above 10 persons will also be getting a special price. Te buffet spread will feature our normal Kites buffet spread, while maintaining a Ramadhan Corner showcasing dishes from Ramadhan buffet dinner.
