Few days ago I had been invited to try out steamboat with some friends at a nearly opened pork-free restaurant called Machino’s loacted at 3rd Mile Square along Jalan Klang Lama (Old Klang Road) It was a comfortable tucked quietly at the corner of the first row of this square. We were served with half pot of tom yam soup and half chicken soup.

They truly have lots of variety items tto choose that was tucked cold in the fridge. Ranging from fresh prawns, chicken, fish, crab, fish ball, chicken ball till all type of fresh greens. So much choice to pick from.

I was surprised to see there were six variety dippings to try our from sweet, salty and chilli hot. I lke them and some I even had mix them mixed with cut bird eye chilli. Fabulous with steamboat. While waiting for them to cooked in the pot, we had readily fried riec and fried noodle which was tasty to my liking. Nice and a great filler!

The Griller – BBQ

Another attraction at Machinos are their BBQ, I just can’t get enough of them. The Lamb was so well marinated and tasty, blended well to my liking. The chicken wings ewere interesting than the noraml ones that I had before, It was not marinated sweet rather slightly salty but it was really yummy. Very different. Anyway I got tell you this, make sure you take more of their grill beef ham, it was superbly grill that night! (we kept drilling on this item, lol)

They also have deep fried item, just send your samosa and spring roll to the kitchen for deep frying, make a great appetizer.

We too were eyeing at their desserts ice cream and ice kacang . . . .. . so nice, so cooling! such a pleasure.

Currently the restaurant charges RM28 nett per head for their steamboat but tomorrow on everyday.com you can purchase the steamboat at RM28 for two person. RM14 per person is truly a fabulous deal and so affordable while eat all you can! . . . . . oh I want more of those delicious BBQ lamb, BBQ chicken wings, BBQ beef and chicken ham! truly a steal! left Sidney Kan drooling !
