It was a fabulous evening and I was invited for a scrumptious dinner with such a panoroma view of Kuala Lumpur. When I was told that I was going to indulge fresh flown lobster with champagne, I was totally amazed. Dining at Cristallo can be very exciting, I was told it is new too. I like the modern chick deco, very inspiring white. On that night the place was filled with bottles of Bollinger Champagne from left to right and from back to front. Just fabulous. Having a poured glass of champange can be so exciting and yet full of pleasure.

I was slurping into my glass of Bollinger Special Cuvee NV. A special multi vintage blend of Grands and Primier Crus grapes has a unique combination of power and finesse, establishing its difference and show it commitment to quality. First came to the table was the Tomorrow Never Dies a Chef Salad. It looks a bit sleepy but it was very tasty. I like the drizzled juicy and tangy lemon vinaigrette over the salad with bits of beef, chicken and turkey ham. A great way to start a meal.

Washing my mouth with the Quantum of Solace, a Prawn Bisque over the Champagne can be such a heaven. I just love to have a dense soup, sipping into it’s compactability texture can be sure a winner. I am floating over having it glaze cleaned with my toasted bread. I am definitely a skilled cleaner.

The fragrant smell of the Thai Basil coming from the cooked lobster was unavoidable. It had such a mellow juicy smell tht can easily drive your appetite running wild. I did lick my spoon clean. The texture was truly firm and pleasant. It was a truly spread of delightful taste.

The air surrounded me was filled the the taste of grilled cheese. It drove me nuts as I got a way of liking grilled cheese. Laced over a cooked lobster can be so inviting and delightful. Something to die for, just like having a beautiful girl sitting next to you. My mind was left running with imaginery wild. It was good and so succulent.

Next came a plate called The World is Not Enough which filled with Angus New York Striplion, Grilled Garoupa & Grilled New Zealand Lamb Rack. The Striplion was slightly tough in texture, as I suspected it was a slightly left cold before serving. As for the grilled garoupa had a good texture but needed some flavouring as it was slightly dule. I like the lamb rack as it was good. 😉 It was a plentiful platter, I liked the portion!

We were then being truly spoilt with Peach melba ice-cream and heaven felt like a little toddle, filled with joy and laughter. Such a splendid portion of time, it was fun spooning up the ice cream. Bollinger Special Cuvee NV
Matured in Bollinger’s cellars for a minimum of 3 years, this aging process is far longer than minimum requirements of the Champagne Appelation, procures the wine to achieve the perfect balance developing a delicate aroma. To preserve the aromatic balance, the dosage of sugar is low – 7 to 9 grams of sugar per litre makes this Champagne within the Brut category. Special Cuvee NY is by essence an ideal aperitif wine, and is a fine companion to seafood and white meat.
