Playing Cupid

It is awesome to able to sit in for a celebration meal with the elderly. Seeing awesome smiling faces was such a great joy. In the spirit of Chinese New Year I was invited to attend a special charity luncheon together with 230 elderly citizens and old folks. It was joint organised between Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa and the New Horizon, a Senior Citizen’s Programme under Grace Community Services. Grace Community is a registered, non-profit organisation that was established in 1982 to help provide community care, food, shelter, counselling and rehabilitation to the less fortunate.

It was a fabulous event, even our Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development was there to grace the event. The elderly citizens and old folks was entertained by the songs rendered by Soo Wincci while they were having a delicious lunch here at West Lake.
