Buttered Crab
Chessie Crab

There are a few good seafood restaurant within the area of Tropicana and PJ Seafood Restaurant does serve good and delicious dishes. I was introduced to this place by a friend of mine who happens to be a foodie herself, basically she came over to my place and took me to this restaurant on her second return. I was so inspired and I just love indulging delicious crab dishes. We ordered two crab dishes this round to satisfy our needs.

The Cheesie Crab dish was superbly done, the crab was fully coated with classic cheese gravy. It had a great pungent aroma, sticky and work so well over my white rice including some steam Chinese buns. The crabs were very fresh in taste, It was very good.

Sweet and Sour Crab
Sweet & Sour Crab

The Sweet and Sour Crab was so appealing to look at, the whole dish was bursting with redness. Not forgetting it was also bursting with flavours. The gravy was filled with very fruity sweet and just the right sourish. I like it and the gravy was plentiful. Having it with deep friend Chinese bun is a must, it taste even better.

Curry Fish Head

The Curry Fish head was just awesome. We picked the garoupa fish and it was sizeable. The curry was delicious and well thicken with coconut milk. It was very fragant as we can smell it coming to our table from the kitchen. Well used of curry paste. I basically drench my whole plate of rice with the curry gravy.

Salted Egg Yolk Squid
Deep Fried Salt Egg Yolk Squid

The squid was just at the right texture and it was not too rubbery. Having it coated with salted egg yol was really at the door step to heaven. It was really tasty and just simply gorgeous.

Kung Po Mantis Prawn
Kung Poh Mantis Prawn

We also had the mantis prawns stir-fried with dried chillies ‘Kung Poh’ style. The mantis praen was well coated with the mild hot chilli sauce and it was great. It was gone it just a few minutes.

The dining experience here was great, that night on a weekday and it was not too crowded. It was rather laid back and relax. . . . . I like it here, Sidney Kan
