It was a colorful and lively launching ceremony graced by the renowned international celebrity chef Datuk Chef Wan. With his added speech, ” It’s a discovery, the entire journey up to Genting Highlands. It’s a trail of food by itself dotted with little food treasure spots all the way to the peak. It’s amasing that the Resot offers such a diversity of authentic dishes and cuisines under one roof for a great ‘makan time’. It’s a sure way to bring about people and countries together.

Datuk Chef Wan was amazed with the effort put in by the Resort World Genting on the Mountain of food on bringing in such interesting cuisines monthly from different sources and cultures which is dynamically Malaysian. Upon finding out that there are over 100 food outlets offering sso many hundreds of dishes, having to feed like 20 million diners yearly, was amazingly speechless. Definitely it a mountainous task.

Mr Sim in his speech says, “Resorts World Genting as Mountain of Food is like a gigantic version of Ice Kacang – instead of ice, it is blanket with nature’s 130 million years old tropical green forest and its condiments are delightfully edible gems and trinkets of palatable food outlets. The magnitude and extensiveness of food goes beyond one’s imagination!”
