GIVE SHARE LOVE

I was invited to watch the launch of GIVE. SHARE. LOVE a Celebration of Joyful Giving & Merry-Making. It was officiated by YB Elizabeth Wong, EXCO for Tourism, Consumer Affairs & Environment, Selangor State Government with the Children from Trinity Home and attended by almost 100 invited guests. The kick-starting the festive affair was at the lobby of Hotel – aptly conceptualised to be Toyland, and themed Give. Share. Love. – whimsical toys, tasty treats, goodies for less fortunate children and a whole array of trappings come together to make the season even more meaningful.

“Santa’s Workshop” is where a range of mechanical toys come to life amidst the Hotel’s colourful Christmas decorations and lighting. Like a seamless glow of illumination from the street to the Hotel’s porte corche, into the lobbies and beyond, the festive show lights by themselves are a conversation piece and a picture-perfect backdrop. Along with Santa’s appearances, Christmas carolers and merry-makers, it is certain to leave you awe-struck.

Headlining the celebrations, Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa extends its heart out to children of various homes. Guests and visitors to the Hotel will able to have the opportunity to select a child and donate RM50 that will be used to purchase a toy, which will be presented to the child on 2 January 2011 during the Hotel’s charity hi-tea event
