FU-RIN Japanese Restaurant Holiday Inn Glenmarie

Fu Rin

Upon knowing that this week is going to be a hectic week, I decided to pamper myself over the last weekend. First I went for a facial therapy and my face was creamed with vitamin cream just like glazing the whole cake. Don’t we just love pampering? Then without wasting any precious time I went for a real treat, freshly flown in sashimi at Fu-Rin which located not too far from my facial centre at Subang Jaya. The food here was truly fabulous and the place was full of comfort, truly relax.

Edamame
Edamame

I had Edamame as a light refreshing entrement. The warm blenched whole pea was done al dente, not overly cooked or too soft but filled with texture, nice and light! While sipping into my warm ocha, I saw the chef slicky preparing my salmon cut for my sashimi. I was truly excited! well as usual me! :)

I just love how my salmon shasimi, it was decorated beautifully with a classic beauty. The cut was thick to perfect and to my liking. Every slice was truly fresh and had it over with wasabi and soy sauce , it was bursting with flavour as I was munching it,. It was excellent and It was done to my liking.

I had my salmon sashimi paired with Kahurangi Estate Pinot Gris ‘09 white. It was truly smooth and easy to drink New Zealand wine. Light and furit flavout. It truly complimented the salmon perfectly. I like the combination and you can never go wrong with both of them.
