The 15th day of the 8th lunar month happened to fall on mid September this year and the Mid-Autumn Festival or “Zhongqiu” Festival will be celebrated. This year I got to taste the mooncake from The Ritz- Carlton ranging from white lotus paste with egg yolk, lotus paste, red bean, snow skin with Moet & Chandon Champagne infused and also their durian snow mooncake.

It was an awesome luxurious after meal experience. I was pampered with glasses of Moet & Chandon Champagne while biting into the luscious mini snow skin mooncake with infused champagne. It was such a marvelllous and relax encounter while having a great conversation. Not only that I was also shown on how these gorgoeus mini snow skin mooncake crafted. The charming Dim Sum Chef Tan Tiong Guan took the centre stage infusing me with thrill and the simplicity of making his grogeous sweet.

Chef Tan Tiong Guan Overlooking at his Creations

I truly loved the craftmanship of Chef Tan Tiong Guam as it was full of detailing and precision. It looked truly simple in making the snow skin moon cake but it was not that easy for me. I needed more practice I was told! I was excited with the flavour of the Moet & Chandon Rose Imperial Champagne Mini Snow Skin Mooncake as it was filled with a hint of refreshing luxurious flora taste and light in taste. Truly amazing having to creat such lovely mooncake. The Durian snow sking was amazingly gorgeous, truly pungent and left me wanting for more. It was a pleasuring and comfort sweet for this coming festival celebration! What I did? I had took a few box home! :) . . . . there were good luxurious mooncakes, a must have list , Sidney Kan
