Menglembu Wanton Noodle Stall

When I was young I baically grew up in this part of the town. As I was a frequent visitor, indulging a plate of egg noodle or “Wanton Mein” is a must. Majority the people who stays here had somehow adopted this egg noodle particularly from this stall as their daily diet which included myself as it was so affordable and tasty.

I am sure this stall had been run by a few generations, at least three I would believe. The noodle is springy, crunchy, light and every it’s noodle strings stayed firm and does not stick to each other. Having the simple dash of light soya sauce mix truly enhance the taste of the noodle even further and unimagineable Wanting another place after finishing one can be so desireable. “Why not”, as I always says to myself. It is cheap and so affordable.

There is another wanton mee stall is Menglembu which is quite famous too. It’s located at the food stall nearby the Menglembu pasar and only open at 12.45 midnight. Of course, not to be forgotten, the ever famous Buntong wanton mee that requires you to wait hours.
