MEXICO A Festival of Flavours Nikko Hotel

photo1

It was a grand occasion where the lobby of Hotel Nikko Hotel was decorated with giant potraits of gorgeous Mexicans, every portrait photo described the beauty that transpired by the people of Mexico, ” I am Mexico” a collection of photos by Jorge Rivas. On that day I attented an invited dinner which featured the Mexican cuisine entitled “Mexico, A Festival of Flavours”. It was also a night to celebrate the 300th annivesary of Mexico’s Independence.

The Mexican gastronomy on that night was truly speechless, it was the rich cultural heritage that I had discovered the deliciousness in it’s cuisine, just love the mole, it left me speechless with a new discovery in taste.

Indeed a great event. Not many places offer Mexican cuisines especially fine dining and Hotel Nikko did a great job in introducing it.

What a great event to celebrate culture, country and food. Ahhh, mole! That stuff is a wonder — so much work goes into it and each consecutive spoonful reveals new nuances to savor.
