CHINA TREASURES Sime Darby Convention Centre

China Treasure

The newly reopening with great style recently was the China Treasures, the well-loved Halal fine dining Chinese restaurant in Sime Darby Convention Centre at Bukit Kiara. The restaurant was refurbished tastefully with subtle, contemporary decor influenced by oriental elegance and can now accommodate up to 150 persons.

I felt so at home having to able to watch the chefs cooking in style as it had its own new open kitchen that came with a large indoor aquarium filled with fish, oyster, lobster, geo ducks, prawns and crabs, just an amazing view while dining.

I found it interesting as the restaurant had a refreshing menu and all had been well planned by renowned Chef David Pam and the inspiratoncame from his recent trip to Beijing, Qing DAo and Wei Fang in China. Among sopme of the new items to look forward to are the Deep Fried Mushroom with Wasabi Sauce, Baked Prawns with Cheese and Tomato Sauce, Sauteed Lamb Cubes with Sliced GArlic, Roasted Duck Hong Kong Style, Stir Fried COd Cubes with Dried Chilli and Cashew Nuts and Braised Fish Paste Beancurd with Oyster Sauce.
