The Wild Boar & Pig Pig’s Wedding | Cambridge – Kuala Lumpur

Last December I had recieved an email from Pig Pig wanting Big Boys Oven to commision her wedding cake and without any hesitation, I agreed. Pig Pig wanted a memorable wedding and had picked a theme for her wedding reception, it was “Shanghai Night”. I had about 4 months to prepare the wedding cake and I requested Pig Pig and Wild Boar to search for their perfect wedding cake design which they might loved to have.

Pig Pig wanted a 3tier wedding cake with an oriental influence and taste, she insisted me to include a cake topper too. After 3 months of searching, finally Pig Pig and Wild Boar decided what they wanted, a tipsy 3 tier wedding cake covered with sakura flowers and a specially handcrafted cake topper.

Is the cake leaning oneside or just an illusion of mine? By the way, my semester break is going to start soon. Meet up for pig out? Been wanting to join you and Ken for the one-day KL makan tour. :D

hi… liking the cake topper but wondering why the cake is floppy…
overall a martha stewart inspired wedding cake. very spring.

    bigboysoven Reply:

Hi Chuff, the cake topper was hand crafted with clay, it took me about 2-3 weeks to get it done. The cake designed that way to give a flop effect. It was very noticeable right! :) it gave an eye catching effect to the guests! :)
