Today is My Big Day !!!

WOW! It was an exciting afternoon conducting my macaron class. I was lucky that I had a great group of students and all the macaron my students and myself baked, turn out fantastically & incrediblely well! The macarons bloomed beautifully with feets!!!

I got to say the illy coffee macaron shells with gorgeous blood orange buttercream infused with blood orange peel were heaven. As usual the shell was crunchy, as you bit it, they were chewy inside and by continuing to munch, the blood orange flavour drip out, biting into the blood orange peel, the flavour automatically burst in your mouth and not forgetting the aroma taste of illy coffee. Fantastic! Colour contrast of this macarons were absolutely lovely!

Today’s hazelnut macaron with chocolat ganache also taste incredible lovely to indulge with. Over a cup of warm aroma coffee would be extremely heaven.

Students in ACTION! I got to say my students did very well! I am so happy!

This is how you use macaron as cake decoration, . . . simple and yet elegant.

After the class, Sid and myself, we headed to an invited preview dinner at the newly opened Bubba Gump Shrimp Co at Curve. It was lovely, we had cold shrimps, deep fried battered shrimps, cheese baked shrimps, beef ribs and many many of lovely drinks! It was fantastic and we get to meet the famous TV celeb, Jason(JL0) too!

It was one of the most productive saturdays in my life, a day I really enjoyed and I hope yours too . . . Love Sunny Yaw
