After the macaron class, I conducted a rouleau class the next day. It was an incredible class as the class was full in advance and I had promised that my class will be limited to six students. Guess what!!! Carol Rode from Oh For The Love Of Food, Perth Australia had joined this baking class of mine. I was so overly joy to have my baking blogger to join me. I also had LingZie yet another foodblogger who drove down from Penang to attend my class.

rouleau1

Making the cake base!!! Look, look see what I am doing my fellow students! lol!

rouleau2

Sifting the flour!

rouleau3

Whisking the mixture! Students were shocked in their life that I had used 20 eggs per recipe instead of 20gm. lol!

rouleau4

Freshly from the oven!

rouleau5

Let’s have a break and indulge my caramel pudding over coffee.

rouleau6

Freshly make cream puffs!

rouleau7

Packing the rouleau!!! By the way my students did their rouleau rolling too but I did not get any shots of them.

I did not win the lottery, I wish I did but I got vouchers to redeem the mini cheescakes from the Loaf at Pavilion. These mini cheesecakes were so delicious, soft, silky and had a great texture but some had cracking surface due to mishandling.

I had a real busy and great weekend but it was worth every single second and specially thank to my students, it was so worth while to have you all and I am looking forward to be in Penang to teach some baking, hopefully soon . . . Love Sunny Yaw
