What did Sunny Yaw bakes?

It was as usual a busy week, with the daring bakers challenge, the time flied so fast. The daring bakers challenge for the month of february was a bit time consuming as the recipe was about 15 pages but I survived!

The above is a 2kg cake specially baked for Kristy as she wanted two cakes, O’Chocolat (RM65)and Mahsuri(Chempedak) moussecake (RM65) for her mum’s birthday but need to combine them into one, that was interesting indeed. So I combined both cakes by placing them side by side and give it a new surface deco, just like a new face lift . . . lol! I finished the surface with white cream and smeared it with dark chocolat and finished it with white chocolat petals, blood orange peel and my signature macarons! I am sure you notice that I had cashewnut macarons on it too!

Lesly had ordered this cake before she flew back from New York. She wanted an O’Chocolat cake (RM65) for her sister’s birthday. I baked her one and I decorated it with black sesame macarons and vanilla pod! You can smell the aroma of fresh vanilla!

Lesly also ordered this durian moussecake inadvance, a booking that I cannot turn down. She wanted this cake for herself, yes all by herself! lol! Lesly missed durians, you see, so so much!

Kate called up to get a birthday cake. She wanted to taste all the cakes, wow! it really tough for her to choose but at last she settled with rasberry, strawberry moussecake layered with chocolat brownie, top with pink macarons (RM65).

It was cool baking all this cakes and I adore and love them all, every cake looks different and unique! . . . Love Sunny Yaw
