A New Addition to the Family

The dedication and my love for macarons had me taken a further to explore the unknown ingredients, this time I found this, desiccated coconut. A white likely powder make from dry ground and shredded coconut. I used them to replace almond powder to bake the macaron shells.

Ain’t they look gorgeous with a bit of colouring and top with a dash of cocoa powder!

Gosh! this one is with white chocolat malibu ganache filling, “looks good, tastes good & smells good”.

This one is with dark chocolat rum ganache filling, ” so different, so exciting & yet so yummy”.

You may wonder what will be next . . . . Love Sunny Yaw

I like the Matcha macaroons as the slight bitterness offsets the sweetness of it!…Yum, I want Matcha macaroons with red bean centre! Not sure about the coconut though :)
