Wedding Cake – White Sakura

It had been raining a lot lately in Kuala Lumpur, as I am alone at home, I decided to try out a fondant wedding cake. Sid is also away in Terengganu, I hope he is fine. It is great to put my hands on creating a fondant wedding cake. What would be a nice design for this wedding cake? I was thinking of a white wedding. I guess something white would be nice and with flowers would be a good option too. What came into my head was the pink sakura but white sakura would be beautiful too.

Not sure how to explain, but once the mind is set, the hands just take it away. My hands just start to sculpture those huge white sakura flowers. Got to say, they need a couple of days to let them to dry and only then you are able to paste them to the fondant cake.

I also make fondant cloth to cover the cake. I created a two mini tier white sakura wedding cake and I hope you like this one. I also had some small silvery beads sticked on to the fondant cake.

This is gorgeous and elegant. As pure white as the wedding gown with pearls on it. Awesome.
